Do we ever figure out how to be perfect moms? Nope. But can we figure out how to be great moms? Yes! The secret is knowing you will do it in your unique way, just how God meant it to happen. With each of us being unique in our motherhood with our uniquely made children, we are bringing life, diversity, and excitement to the world. We each bring our own imperfections and gifts to the table, all shining bright as one big beautiful lovelight.

Be encouraged by what this adult twin daughter said when reflecting about her childhood with her twin mom.
From the perspective of a twin and what she loved about her twin mom:
Despite all of that, she had the energy to take us abroad on vacation and plan trips for us in the weekends. I’m so grateful for all the adventures, she took us on.”-Kate Phillipa Clark, who is an identical twin and so is her father. She’s also a journalist writing about twins and their parents on about-twins.com. She’s written a great deal about twin pregnancy, twin birth and premature twins.

“My absolute favorite thing about being the mother of twins is watching the love my girls have for each other. They have the sweetest bond together”-Mariam Barnes, “Twin Mom” Blog, Instagram, Facebook
“Being a mom of twins automatically puts you in this exclusive club where you get to watch two of your children be born with their best friend. It really is amazing to witness the bonds twins have and to know you helped foster it for 9 months.”-Molly, “Tried and True Mama” Blog
‘I have always heard the saying; “It is the little things that make life worth living”. But I never knew how true those words were until I met my twins, Grant and Gavin. Being a mother of multiples has been my greatest blessing. The days are not always easy, but my heart is always full. ‘-Heather Karpinsky, Baby A & Baby B, co-author of The Mommy MD Guide to Twins, Triplets, and More book

‘I remember when my twins were tiny and I would shuttle them around in my double stroller and the looks I’d get! Other moms would come over and hug me and say, “bless you, you have your hands full with twins!” My twins are 6 years old now. I have a boy and girl and while they are a challenge, I’m so amazed by their bond and connection with each other. I know they will grow up to be best friends and be in each other’s lives. But also remember to treat them as individuals. My twins love when they spend an afternoon with one of us. That 1:1 attention is important!’-Elna Cain, “Twins Mommy” Blog

“For me having twins, and knowing they’ll be our only children means I have a real ‘now or never attitude’ to life. I love to embrace all the stages knowing we’ll only do them once and go all out celebrating everything from Christmas, to Valentine’s Day and Halloween. I love that I can pick activities that suit them both and they can share the celebrations and excitement. Every occasion is a little bittersweet but I know I’m making amazing memories for my girls and taking thousands of photos to treasure in my later years.”-Amanda, “Mummy 2 Twindividuals” Blog, Instagram, YouTube
“I love seeing my twins relationship between each other grow and evolve with each baby stage.” -Carly @amodernmom, A Modern Mom Blog
