Winter is a great time to talk about snow and create fun snowman activities for our kids! Why not eat some snowman snacks too?!
SIMPLE SNOWMAN PANCAKES
First, we made some yummy pancakes! Then, I used three different circle sizes to cut out three shapes for the snowman body.
We used the whip cream to add white to each pancake.
Next, we got some pieces of fruit to add to the snowman pancakes.
We used blueberries for eyes. We sliced a piece of a carrot for the nose.We sliced a strawberry for buttons.
They were so excited to get their little snowman pancakes!
SIMPLE SNOW-BANANA MAN
Another fun snack is a snow-banana man. It was a fun way to have my kids eat bananas.
We were inspired by fun snowman characters like Frosty and Olaf.
We got some chocolate chips, heart sprinkles, raisins, and a piece of an orange.
First, we cut the banana into three small slices.
Then, we used chocolate chips as buttons.
Next, we used the raisins to create a hat.
It was fun trying new ways to make a fun easy snack.
It was a cute treat. If we had pretzels, we could have made some yummy pretzel arms too.
To Add More Fun Learning to your Simple Snowman Snacks:
Reading: You could read a story about a snowman.
Writing: You could create a fun story about your snowman. “My snowman lives….”
Math: You could practice counting the chocolate chips or raisins. You could create patterns with the fruits for the snowman buttons.
You could add more fun but dressing up your snowman with a raisin hat or a chocolate scarf.
Enjoy!
